Wyandotte thread anyone??

This is Judith, A bantam girl, I picked her up from a breeder who was cutting down in numbers. She raised 6 of my modern babies his year, and is such a sweet girl. I think I might try and show her, but I know nothing about Wyandotte’s (besides what I can read in the standard) and have never paid close attention to those that are actually at shows!

I'm not sure if I'm posting on the Wyandotte thread correctly. I have 26 week old GLW that aren't laying yet. Their combs and wattles aren't very developed and barely red. Is this typical?

Wait, are you saying you have a 26 week old Golden Laced Wyandotte? Or:

You have 26, week old, Golden Laced Wyandottes?

Since you said they/it aren't laying, i'm pretty sure its the top one. Right? :)

hi im new here but i have a hen that is 7 months old a diamond laced wyandotte . im looking for a rooster to mate with her . im 75 hard to get around so i have someone help me with them .i have 1 longhorn and my wyandotte hasnt layed an egg yet either

I have 8, 26 week olds that aren't laying yet. Thanks for clarifying!

Your welcome. :) You should probably switch them to layer pellets if you haven't already. They should start laying soon. Have any of them done the 'egg squat'?
