Thanks Kathy....I don't have gold although one of my BLRWs is more gold than I would like so I won't be using him as a roo. I also don't have black or white yet.

Do you have Buff laced you sould try it.
I love them they are my dream chicken.

Here's my GLW that has had me confused since day one. I knew it was a GLW when I pulled it out of the box from McMurray, and as it grew I decided it must be a cockerel because it was so big and feathering out VERY slowly. Then I decided because of its size and coloring that it must be a dark cornish pullet. Now I'm back to GLW for sure, but now I'm thinking it's a female. It's 8wks old, the comb is still flat and light pink, and there are the starts of waddles. It's still large, and not as feathered out as the rest of my chicks, but I see no signs of secondary sex characteristics. The other chicks keep pulling out any tail feathers that grow, so she looks rumpless, but she's getting very pretty. Here are some pics of Wynona or Wyatt Earp.

I just got 2 wyandots in my order, a silver laced and agold laced, their little wing feathers are coming in, they are1 week old yesterday.. they are 2 of the more curiouse chicks especialy the silver.
