Wyandottes.

My 6 were reared with 6 white leghorns of the approximately same age. The white leghorns were dominate for most of the growing period, although they did not really bully the wyandottes. Since I’ve moved the 12 pullets to their final coop and run, the wyandottes have caught up in size and now dominate the leghorns, but I can’t say that every single sliver laced wyandotte of the group is a bully. There’s a couple I notice over and over again running the leghorns and it may just be their individual personalities.
Than you. Well see what happens.

I read that wyandottes are not ones that will not tolerate being bullied.

But in general are pretty mellow. I only have golden laced. Mazie is still a pullet noy even 6 months yet and very very rarely will she make any noise she minds her business, liked to hang with me often.
While the other chickens are still nervous of my older ones she will go right up and drink and eat with them if she wants and they dont bother her.

My littlest is just over a month old and is still inside with 2 of my silkies and she is calm and doesbt mind being held

I thought someone on one of my post said that the silver laced can more highstrung is the word I might be looking for.

I love the beautiful feathering of the silver laced

Well who knew. My vocal silver is doing much better. Two days ago I placed a roost in the brooder. She decided yesterday that she could fly up to it. Now I have a quiet and contented little girl. I didn’t know that they roosted at 10 days.

Everyone else is sleeping on the ground still behind her.
