Shoot, I'm still here! Ken has a meeting this morning. I rode along to keep him awake and pay for the McDonald's.

Edited - I lied. Gas was 1.94, not 1.99!

Drove home from Laramie yesterday. Darned wind was blowing 50-60 mph head on, I thought I was just kind of running in place at times.

Bob, your flowers are beautiful!

Thank you.

Been in a similar situation before going head on into a 60 mph wind in a Jeep CJ with no doors on, but the return trip was with a tail wind so it seemed like there was no wind at all.

Thank you.

Guess that makes me thankful I have a vehicle with doors, lol!

I am home. Busy busy day yesterday. I was afraid it was going to be one of those trips where he went into his meeting and I sat....and sat.....and sat.... As it turned out they had a couple of day trips planned for the ladies, so it was kinda nice to hop in the van with them and tag along. These are the ladies who I see as regular as clockwork at different Masonic events and stuff all over the state, so we got caught up since the last event (which was in Omaha for some of us) and let someone else do the driving in the breeze. Coming home was a wooley-booger. Head winds, switching to assaults from the side....but it'[s Wyoming.

Missed a chance to visit R2, though. Wasn't on BYC after my last post so missed the PM invitation until this morning. I guess I could drive back down and take advantage of it......
