Thanks, that's what I thought but I wasn't sure. I guess that's our "state amphibian"? That's pretty cool. First one I've spotted out here.
This is one I dug up in the garden in 2020.

We used to have one as a pet, probably 7 years ago I don't really remember how long we had her for, we called her Christmas if I remember right (I was really young around then so I don't remember much of the details very well)
I've seen young tiger salamanders in one our window wells before, I haven't seen any in the last four to five years though.

Hey y’all, can I see some of your Wyoming coops? I live in Casper and we’re preparing our 4 girls a big coop out of a 8x8 shed. I’m concerned about how to prepare it well enough to keep them warm for winters here. Do we insulate? Anyone have suggestions? :) Here’s what we’ve got so far. I don’t wanna let these ladies down!

My guinea coop is insulated. My chicken coop is cement block and is not insulated. Ventilation is very important.

I bet those big guys got a lot more comb to protect 😳 that is one concern of mine for my ladies. I will be breaking out the Vaseline. Thank you!
I have White Leghorn hens. They don't get frostbite. Only the roosters get it. I am assuming it is because of their vanity and their refusal to put their heads under their wings when sleeping.
