I got a surprise today. Despite it being dark, gloomy, cold, rainy, one of my EE's left me a lime green egg. She left it on the floor and not the nesting box, but she left me one anyway. It got split four ways. My daughter declared she enjoyed it far more than bland store bought eggs.

I agree. Now, if I could just get my girls to use their nesting boxes. I even went so far to put in the fake eggs. I suspect the egg I found was when they were "hamster piling" on the floor before sunrise.
