Ya just never know....

Little Vegas all dried and fluffy! He is a Bantam cochin

Here is his little hatch buddy a splash silkie I think I'll name Dice

You said you ditched them, then candled them and saw only one with movement. Did you put them all back in the incubator or just the one with movement. Just curious because Vegas has a sibling, did more than one hatch from the incubator that the temps got raised on. Dice and Vegas are sooo adorable, love the coloring. Teach the kid a lesson-make him clean up the chicken poop on a warm day--Little ba**ard.

I love the names. :) I had two baby goats welcome me this morning. :) It was trips but one died. :(
I just love babies. It's awesome how he made it.

Tell ya what I'd have done tho. I'd have cracked open one of those eggs in front of him so that he could SEE the result of his actions. Sometimes that's what it takes to get through to someone what their actions do/ cause.

The 3 others clearly were deceased...but I saw a faint fluttering in one..so I but him back in the hatcher..the Silkie baby was from my hen Reba who is my hatching machine..she is sitting on her second batch for me...

Poor little Vegas passed away today...poor little guy just never started eating right...but he gave it a good try..

So sorry for your loss

Just now seeing this. I'm so sorry honey. {{HUGS}} It's a miracle he made it as far as he did and it wasn't in vain. He certainly touched a very big heart to be such a tiny fuzzbutt.

He sure did! I swear I worried about that little chick night and day...cant tell you how many times I woke up and made sure he was ok..He taught me a lesson about never giving up on a hatch that is for sure!

Thanks everyone for your sincere concern..chicken people are the best!
