I was born in Cali and lived there for 10 years of my childhood. When I moved to South Carolina, Long Island and then Maryland, kids always wanted to know if I was a Northerner or a Southerner, because I spoke weird. I always shrugged and said neither, I guess, I'm a Californianer lol.
