Yankee,RP poult or peachick

I posted this on the Turkey forum, the funky feathers on his head look weird. My husband thinks he's a peachick. He's supposed to be a Royal Palm turkey.

Lol..... It's definately not a turkey. It's a White Peachick. You won't know if its a boy or girl till it's about a year old.

Yep, white peachick. Some of mine are going through the "bump head" stage.

I bought him at an auction approximately 6 wks ago. He was in a box with 2 other white chicks marked Royal Palm. Those two are definitely Royal Palm poults. I thought it was odd that he wasn't getting any black feathers. I refer to Yankee as him because I've seen him attempt to mate one of the RP poults twice.

I wish when I bought Turkey they ended being peachicks.... LOL
