Yawning

My chicks are yawning at least that is what it looks like is that ok or a sign i need to do something

Probably just stretching, do they have plenty of water?...and are they drinking?

thanks ill make sure to keep cleaning the shavings that they kick up out of the waterer

Late reply, but I just noticed my chickens doing this... stretching their necks up and opening their mouth wide, either like a yawn or like they mean to throw up. I've never noticed them do it until now, and they were all happy bumbling about outside in the nice weather. I saw one chick do it but that's it. So I'd assume its normal.
