YAY! Finally, a whole set.

Wow, I'm very happy. This is so far the only bright spot in a very bad day. We've got 8 Red Sex Links. They've been laying for about a month now. They will be 24 weeks tomorrow. Today is the very first day I have collected 8 eggs, from our 8 hens. I'm so proud of the girls. They finally did it, in hot weather to boot.

Thanks. I have been impressed with how quickly the size of our eggs have been increasing. I would say all of our eggs are about the size of the large "grade A" you get from the store. Some are bigger yet. They were much much smaller when they first started to lay.

I'm at week 12 with my Barred Rocks and RIR's. I can't wait til they start laying !
