Chirping
We dressed 24 red ranger roosters yesterday and they were 4.7 to 6.2 pounds at 83 days old. We are saving the girls for about 8 more weeks, we hear they may start laying eggs in the next 2 weeks, and we are okay with feeding them longer to put a little more weight on and using them as slow cook birds.
Anyway, we are so excited! And had a great time with friends and family (11 people!) figuring out everything yesterday. First dinner planned for tomorrow.
The first one to ummm "go" I said something outlod like "we take your life with dignity and respect, big guy!" And then felt realllllly cheesy! But I loved them so much, it felt wrong to not say anything at all.
