YAY! So excited!!!! Projects!

SOo guess what!!! I got basically a gift bag of awesome eggs coming!

Which incluuudes:

Reds (cinnamons)
Red Goldens (cinnamon range)
Project reds

poss. blue down
and Golden Range

(a range I dont have yet) --- ETA: I just found out I do have one golden range... I had no idea what he was and he's very pretty, I hope i get some more from these eggs!

According to my friend this variety was one of the first brought over here

Then also as a gift, 3 white bobwhite eggs for more projects

Only three eggs but hey I didn't buy them so getting them as a gift is exciting hehe! I should get them all on thursday I cannoooot wait!

My breeder friend produced these crosses and I'd like to experiement with them at my own place to see what colors i can throw

Hey Niki, guess what I got today?? My very first egg from the red-golden/red pen!

Now to figure out which one it was

I only know for sure that 1 is female, as I haven't checked the other 2 yet. Of course I dropped the darned thing, trying to keep it seperate from the rest. But that's okay, cause this gave me a reason to break it open the rest of the way....it wasn't fertilized

But at least there was an egg!

I'll have to break all of them till they show fertile, I hate setting eggs that don't hatch

Kinda sad on my part tho I was supposed to get all my pens set up this year but look at me I'm still stuck with my 2 birds lol.
