Do you think he's a mix or just a poor quality rosecomb? His tail is not very long, almost hen like. I was told he's about 7 months old. He does crow.

I can't help with what kind but I LOVE his crowing picture. It looks like he is putting all his little might into that crow.

I'd say either Rosecomb bantam or Dutch. I don't know much about either breed, but I do know that he has a nice comb.

he is a splash Rosecomb, his tail feathers have been beat up, they will grow back. As for his qualitly he is not SQ, his comb needs a longer spike and the spike needs to curve upwords slightly. His earlobes need to lay flatter and be solid white instead of color "cracks" and his wing carraige is poor. He is adorable though!
