Oh, that is too warm..better a little less than 99.5 than that much over. Humidity I don't worry too much about, you could up it to around the 40's, I don't get into the 50's like a lot of folks do, but when lock down comes, you will need it up to around 60 to 65%.
Really, get that temp down, Unless.....you have a still air..if it has air..then get it down. Still air, you should be ok. And...

Yes, the wind didn't hit us as hard as up north. There is now another wind warning, but it is for even further north and into Wendover. We got a skiff of snow, but I think we just may wake up with some on the ground in the morning. It's a pretty dark sky tonight.

Well, I candled last night..I love it when I can see big babies in there. No more swimming, just moving their little bodies around, or kicking those legs. Sunday night, I will have everything ready for lock down.

I'm putting my eggs on their sides tomorrow night, getting them ready for lock down on Mon. I have already upped the humidity a little more than I usually have it during incubation. We're getting there!

No one else is going into lock down on the 5th with me? Or maybe someone has already? I will candle for the last time tonight. Won't be opening bator again until babies are here after tonight.
I just put some New Hampshires in my other bator, they are heritage..this person has been breeding them for a while. I'm excited, hope I get some to hatch, because I will then have my replacement flock for next year after that hatch. I know how well those New Hampshires lay!

Lockdown for me was last night on the 3rd.
I have 24 Silkie eggs and 7 Black Copper Maran eggs!

All eggs are candled and look good.

Now waiting for 'em to hatch. . . .
