I just set some this morning. This is my first batch using an incubator. My hens have taken care of hatching out my previous babies. A very bad dog got into my coop last week and I am beside myself. Even worse I had to use eggs that had been refrigerated. I still have 9 girls left. I think a majority of mine are hiding out in the woods but I have spent hour upon hour searching and calling and still no signs. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and pray for a miracle. I set 36 I will be thrilled if any babes make it. Keep your fingers crossed. The silence from the coop is deafening.

Aww man, that's the worst. Best of luck, we're all rooting for ya.
Btw, how long until we can candle and confirm there's development? So far there's just a faint darker blob. Also I accidentally had a few eggs tumble out and drop about an inch onto cardboard. Will they be okay? Keeping my fingers crossed...
