I'm starting to get a little nervous now honestly...i think I have maybe a single egg still developing. What do quitters look like exactly? What would an infertile egg look like? Would it be totally clear or would you still see the shadow of the yolk?

Not really sure what's going on...

What do quitters look like around day 10? I see mostly just a real black area that doesn't move. Even when you move the egg..no movement of the embryo. And it's usually at the bottom of the egg. Don't get confused now with darkness in an egg. See if you can see veins and movement before you throw any out.

I ordered mine off ebay from 1234muki, she sent me a variety of Silkie colors, am excited about the calico and splash, those are my favorite as well as the blue. I have 2 white , one splash roo, 2 lav roos, and 1 black hen. I will be recieving a lav hen, and 2 blues that I won on BYC auction. Can't wait to have them all together, I love Silkies.
Am also working on Lav Orps, have 6, 2 hens and 4 little ones hopefull a Roo!!!
