Congrats!

Ain't it fun? We have been getting eggs for the last 17 days! Gotta go back out to the coop to see if Maureen got her egg laid. We have been getting 4/day for a week until Wednesday this week when there were 5. But Friday we were back to 4. I was not sure if it was Maureen or Lucille. Lucille finally squatted yesterday but today Maureen was doing the pacing and getting in n out of the nesting boxes so I'm pretty sure she was #5.

Looks like you have a sweet lil guy to help you with the chicks!

I am still waiting on my first from my new hens....they are about 19 wks. old, 2 of their combs are nice and red,but the other are just pink for now...

congrats on your new layers. My hens are 20 wks and 17 wks and still no eggs, I'm sure it will be happening soon tho, all the older hens have deep red wattles and combs so we're very excited and waiting that long wait..
