I have 2 Isa Browns(IB), 1 Americana, 2 white Leg Horns (LH), and 2 New Hampshire Reds (NHR).
The IB LH and Americanas are 17 wks old and the 2 NHR are 15 wks old.
The 1st egg appeared 6/18 and then another 6/20 and now today. The first 2 are small brown ones - I think from the same chick. The 3rd (today's egg) is brown too but bigger. Does anyone know which chickens may be laying? I am thinking the IBs but not sure. My neighbor told me not to expect any eggs until September.
Do some breeds start laying faster than others?
