This is why I'm behind with my updates. All 4 incubators are full. lol 81 eggs and several hatch dates. I'll have an update for my Silkie and BBS Marans hatch soon though! 7 pips already tonight and tomorrow is day 21!

I have eggs hatching at different times again . Most are due on Easter though

Candling results for chicken eggs due 3/31:

Based on these results I am probably going to abandon the completely dry hatch (not adding water, humidity holding at 19%). It will be a pain to maintain the humidity but it is what it is.

My Silkie and Marans hatch is offically complete! I had a 94% hatch rate overall! (1 early quitter)

3/23/20: 94% (started with 23, 5 infertile, 1 quitter, 17 live chicks) Version 3 Nurture Right

Breed breakdown -
- 11 Marans (1 early quitter, 4 infertile) 6 hatched
- 12 Silkies (1 infertile) 11 hatched

Now my Sebastopol goslings are pipping and I'm absolutely beside myself with excitement! I feel like they've been incubating for an eternity!!
Fingers crossed they hatch well! My hatching anxiety is still alive and well when hatching goslings. lol

I set 10 chicken eggs on the 3/21 date. Candled them today, btw. I see life!

got a lot of catching up to do it looks like Chocolate Mottled babies out of 24 eggs 8 were fertile out of 8 I had one that bloodringed around day 10 7 made it to lockdown and 6 hatched the last one with assistance. The last chick passed away last night and was super noisy from hatch so I'm thinking something was wrong with her so I got 5 healthy viable chicks out of that hatch.

My 3/5 hatch all eggs were clears so I caught my rooster and clipped his butt feathers back hoping that helped.

Linda Martin shipped eggs I had two that developed out of 16 one quit day 13 and the other quit aroudn day 16 was developed but still with a lot of fluid in the egg on eggtopsy. So fertility was 12% hatchability was 0 horrible hatch.

My 3/9 eggs out of 6 set 3 were fertile and grew. Out of those three all just hatched this morning with no issues. All look super healthy.
