I'm leaning toward EYP but I'm not sure, first time I've seen this and of COURSE she's my favorite hen (and the name I chose for this site):

1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.)
Barred Plymouth Rock. 2 years, 3 months. She's lost weight.

2) What is the behavior, exactly.
Lethargic, isolating, puffed

3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?
She put herself early to roost which was odd, and had an empty crop which is REALLY odd. That was Tuesday night. Today is Thursday morning.

4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms?
No.

5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
No.

6) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.
Started laying larger eggs after second molt. Last egg laid was Saturday.

7) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.
Yesterday some yogurt mixed with feed. Today nothing yet.

8) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.
Abnormal. Milky yellow runny with little digested bits. Yesterday morning had the forest green.

9) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?
Epsom salt soak with warm water, dried poo washed off bum, skin was clean just feathers soiled. Inside the house, nutridrench in water which she drank, plain yogurt mixed with feed and water yesterday. Safeguard this morning.

10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?
Whatever I can do at home I'll try. I'm calling a few vets this morning in a few hours, even just to euthanize if needed.

11) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.
See attached

12) Describe the housing/bedding in use
Brooder box with towels that I'm currently washing after they got pooped on. Right now she's on the couch with me.

It sounds like you are doing everything you can for her.
If you can get a poop sample to your vet, they can rule out Cocci or worm overload and hopefully perform a gram stain for bacteria.

Did you notice any swelling, bloat or feeling of fluid in the abdomen?

It's very possible that she may have an internal laying/reproductive disorder like Egg Yolk Peritonitis, Ascites, cancer or tumors. Symptoms include loose droppings that sometimes look like egg mixed in, weight loss, going off feed, lameness and at time a swollen/distended abdomen. With repro disorders, antibiotics may be helpful if caught early, but usually improvement is usually short lived.

The poop is concerning - it could be an internal laying disorder, worms, possibly Cocci since you mention she is fluffed up or she may have an infection from something like E.Coli which is sometimes associated with Salpingitis (inflammation of the oviduct).

Keep us posted.

Wyorp, you got it right. Except winning at this game sucks.

The milky yellow poop was from a distressed and failing liver. I don't have the xray to post but it was totally splayed out where it shouldn't be. Why? It was displaced by a massive ovarian tumor. This tumor was a third of her body. :( it not only pushed out her liver but blocked her gizzard, intestines and half her air sacs. I've posted in the past year about her labored breathing on and off. Now it makes sense.

Needless to say, we had her put down while we held her. She went the way she wanted, with all the affection in the world. Once a queen, always a queen. RIP Amelia Egghart.
