yellow diarrhea??????? any help would be appreciated

I have a flock that is about 5-6 months old and one of chickens has died and I am unable to find out why. I was out of town for a week and my neighbor was taking care of my birds and when I got home I noticed some light yellow diarrhea but all the birds seemed to be acting ok so I just watched and a little over a day later I noticed one of the barred rocks was just sitting in the shade and didn't seem interested in food or water she would get up and move a little but just to sit somewhere else so I removed her from the flock and set her out with her own food and water and she never touched it. when she was laying down she had her head pulled in. I also noticed at her vent the runny yellow feces and some grass that was not all digested. by the next morning she couldn't hold her head up and her breathing was very labored. also looked as if she struggled to open her eyes. So I tended to the other birds first in hopes of not spreading what she has. but while I was tending the other birds I watched my ill bird tremble alittle and go to a happier place. if anyone has any idea's to what may have caused this I would aprecciate it. I am also concerned for the rest of my flock. so far it has been 3 days and I haven't noticed any signs of trouble from the others yet.

I have many birds and I have had this problem before. My chickens have not had anything like this before but my budgies have. I found out how to solve this problem of diarrhea when I visited one of my bird friends. He told me to add 5ml of apple cider vinegar to 1L of water. This helps with the digestive system. Since I have done this with all of my birds, not one of them has had those symptoms ever again. Try adding this to the sick birds water and your flocks water. If your sick hen decides to drink this will help her and by adding it to your flocks water help protect them against any infection the other hen may have. I hope this helps and your hen is ok

thanks for the advise. i have heard that before now that you mention it. i started doing it yesterday so lets hope helps so far the rest of my flock has been ok.
