Yellow duckling with pale/white bill

I had some ducklings hatch a week ago and I had 1 yellow duckling hatch. For the first 6 days it had a normal colored pale pink bill. Then this afternoon I went to check on them and it’s bill and legs were very pale/white. It died about 30 minutes later. Any idea what happened or why it died? What was wrong with it? Thanks

It's sounds like it could have been coccidiosis. Their bills will turn white sometimes if they have it.

Oh no! I’m so sorry! That’s so sad

I really am not sure, but my immediate thought when I saw this was internal bleeding. I have absolutely no idea if this has anything to do with it, but the reason I though of it is because when there is internal bleeding, body parts with direct blood flow will become very pale shortly before the animal dies.

Did you notice anything abnormal about its poop or its behavior?
