I have a 14m old Golden Comet hen w a persistent case of vent gleet. I've isolated and treated her w only feed and yogurt as well as using monistat 3x now and it continues to come back. She got egg bound at one point but I was able to resolve that quickly and she seemed better for awhile but her vent feathers were nasty again this week and we cleaned her up. Should I try compounded antibiotics for a week at this point or what to do? I *believe* she's also laying shell-less eggs but I'm actually not entirely sure which one is doing it. I'm in N Texas and I'm sure heat stress is contributing but I just want her to be as healthy as possible and the yellow/green color is worrisome to me.
