Yellow Mass in eye socket

Both of my chicks died within 2-3 days. They both went the same way. They got a drink and then started foaming at the mouth. Then it looked as if they assperated and died. I still don't know what happened but the remaining healthy chick lived to be a rooster so at a healthy and tame 3 months of age I left him at the feed store and walked away while he was crying and confused..... so sad!!! The feed store called me an hour later and said a young couple who didn't have any chickens yet but we're thinking of entertaining the idea came in to look around. They saw Lily, my white rooster and fell in love with him. Picked him up and snuggled with him and decided to start there very own back yard flock with him,..... so it was a good day!

I am Brasilian.
I'm trying to help my chicken.
Chicken is with swollen eyes and seems to have feed into the eye: a yellow mass only in one eye.
What is it? My parents say it is corn bran, and is even identical. I managed to remove some, but what's left does not come out, okay swollen.

Please help me

Can we see a picture of your chicken? You should completely clear out the eye. Does it smell? If so, I'd suspect coryza. You can type coryza into the search bar for treatments, or pm someone who has had experience with it. It may also be a sinus infection.

Leaf

@felixpaul , welcome to BYC! That is a nasty sinus infection that cannot be treated with just antibiotics, you must get the pus out first. Some people get the pus out using pressure and tweezers, other people do surgery.

Read this:

and this:

Could be Coryza or mycoplasma, but it might not be. Only way to know for sure would be to have her tested. If she were mine I would try to get the pus out.
