I have a mixed flock of 21, ranging in age from 17wks to almost 1yr.
They eat Scratch & Peck feed only.
I have a lot of loose stools going on…could be considered cecal, but I feel like there is more than should be.
One 17wk old hen has been off to the side fluffed up and trying to sleep on and off for a couple weeks. Recently submitted her stool for ova and parasites with Giardia tests, all came back negative. She perked up some in isolation with cooked egg yolks, vitamins, probiotics mixed into her feed, but is doing some fluffed up sleeping again.
Another hen that I noticed showing symptoms yesterday died in isolation last night. Her keel bone was quite prominent when I pulled her from the flock, so I knew she was worse off than the other.
Any thoughts on what I can do next to help my flock???
Thanks in advance!

Are there any other symptoms? Foamy eyes, nasal discharge, sneezing? Pics of poop and your sick hens if you have them may be helpful
No other symptoms. This is a horrible pic of the one that goes off to the side and tries to sleep standing up. But you get the idea of what I’m seeing. She seems to eat and drink normally. If I get near her she’ll perk up and scatter. Here are examples of poop. Thank you!

Is it all your birds or just some?

Are you feeding Scratch and Pecks whole grain, pellets or crumbles? If you are feeding the whole grain are you at least wetting it to a mash or fermenting?
I am feeding crumbles and pellets. All on crumbles right now because my younger ones aren’t 18weeks yet.

It’s some. My older flock has normal poop from what I can tell (possibly not all), but my younger 17wk old flock seems to have the diarrhea. In their coop there is a lot of normal poop as well, I can just tell it’s coming from them mostly when I’m out with them. They have different coops attached to the same run. There used to be a fence separating them until old enough. About 4 weeks ago they were integrated. Started seeing the diarrhea about 2 weeks ago.

Maybe it's coccidiosis
