Hi.
Wondering if anyone can shed some light on this patch on my 4 month old bantam rooster's wattle

Is this something I should worry about at all?

It has only been there for around 2 days. He is well and happy so no other symptoms other than the patch.

He is a pet and flew into the coffee table and took a sip of my tea which I had just made. Could he have burnt himself? This was almost a week ago though.

Please note I do not make a habit of giving my boy tea. This was the first time and I took him away ASAP after it happened.

Any help would be appropriate 🙂
Inge

You can use plain neosporin or plain triple antibiotic ointment. It will probably be fine, I'd just keep an eye on it. It may turn dark before it goes away.

Thank you 😊. I will put some ointment on and keep an eye on it. He is my daughter's fave and cuddles in bed with him so fingers crossed it's nothing serious.
