I just finished treating my hens with Safe-Guard, two days ago. Yesterday, when I cleaned the coop, I noticed what looked like egg-whites, under the roost, amongst the poops. Today, there were yellow poops. I checked vents and found one girl who secreted a little yellow discharge, while I was examining her. Could this be a reaction from the Safe-Guard - or might she have made a shell-less egg? She is acting normally, otherwise. Do I need to watch for anything specific? I "think" she laid an egg, today. If I'm correct ~ she always lays rather long, somewhat mis-shapen eggs. I did get one this morning.

I got a picture of this dropping, from the run. This morning's poop was like this, but a bit more yellow. Not as bright as some I've seen in my search on this site - but definitely yellow

The poop pic looks okay to me. Worming is hard on the system. The liver and kidneys have to metabolize the drug and there's also probably a lot of dead/dying worms in their body. It can make the poop look off. The droppings should start looking normal again a couple days.

The "egg whites" on the poop board and discharge from the vent might be a different problem or problems. Keep an eye out for soft-shelled or shell-less eggs and messy bottoms. Not having seen the discharge it's hard to guess what it was, but possibilities that come to mind are a stress "poop" with only urates, egg material from a broken egg, or a sign of cloacitis (vent gleet).

The poop doesn't look to bad, but I'd keep an eye on her if she lays odd eggs. She may have had a membrane rupture, usually those get eaten fairly quickly.

Do you provide oyster shell free choice for your hens?

Yes, they do. I will make sure to take my phone out with me for coop clean-up, today. I have my little grandson this weekend. Not the best timing, as I'd really like to spend more time observing the girls, right now

Here is a sample from this morning. Possibly a bit less yellow than yesterday morning. Alongside a normal poop for comparison. Not too bad, right? I checked the hen's vent. I didn't see a discharge, this time

No, not too bad.
Does this hen have a history of production issues?
The yellow urates could be an indicator of liver problems, but if she's acting o.k. then I'd just monitor her and let her do her thing.

No history. But she's fairly young. 18 months. Thank you for weighing in. I'll keep an eye on her.
