I know. I know. Every day theres a new thread. I've read them all and I'm keeping her bum clean and all that.

My problem is that she struggles SO MUCH. No matter how gentle I am she acts like I'm killing her the entire time and it takes sooo long every time. I've never encountered this problem!!

I'm terrified that I'm going to injure her or the stress will kill her but I know it has to be done. Is there a better way to do this??

Running water, q tips, wet wipes, soaking. She hates it all.

You could give her a bit of coconut oil orally. Just chill it in the fridge and give her a little chunk
ETA they love the flavor of it!

As much as they don't like it, I don't know of an easier way. Next time you do clean it though, put some coconut oil around the vent area. This should help it from sticking so much.

You could also try some AVC w/Mother in their water, helps prevent pasty butts with chicks I've raised .... 1T/gal of water & don't use a metal

No..If they get cold they get pasty butt. Too warm they lay flat out and pant.
