It's not so bad once you learn the signs. Mine haven't had babies yet, due in July.

I guess you do learn the signs when you are around them enough. I'm sure you will post plenty of pictures when she has them!

Ouch. My sister got badly attacked by a rooster when she was 3, but she didn't have to go to the ER.

I have a scar through my eyebrow, any lower and I would be missing an eye. They say my whole face was covered in blood and they were almost at the hospital before they knew I wasn't missing my eye. On Easter Sunday no less.

And the worst part was, it was kinda my fault. My brother and I were like, 7 and 5, and we are at our aunts house and we decided to chase her hens. My poor sister walked outside in the midst of it all and the rooster who was a bit upset saw someone short and ran at her. I got a switch on the butt for that one.

Same with my lil sister.... She was attacked by a dog..we thought she would lose her left eye but PTL she didn't! The teeth marks got inside her bottom eye lid and just missed her eye... now she has a scare right under her eye...
