Yesss! First egg!!

Hey everyone, guess what? We got our first egg today!! Our jersey giant Precious laid it!!

we were looking for her and couldn't find her and I looked in the coop and looked out the window and saw her face. She was standing on the nesting boxes and my friend looked down and found the egg! But It was cracked!

but I was so so happy to finally get our first egg! That's all, thanks for reading!!!

Well right now we have 5 girls and a roo because we had to get rid of two boys, just wanted to say that. So we have a jersey giant (obviously) a buff orpington a splash orpington a rhode island red a silkie and our roo is a black orpington! I like having a bit of variety!

And also probably getting some more girls in January!
