Blacklight doesn't show germs. Just bodily fluids, certain detergents and certain vitamins/acids (like lemon juice). You need a particular UV light to see any germs

Black lights use certain UV, just not the gym seeking ones. Apparently black light posters were a big trend a few decades ago
