Yet another pullet or roo? post.

OK, I've held out as long as I can.
I got this black silkie on the 31st of August. I dont know how old it is. The only real changes to date have been the blue ears peeking through and she has nearly doubled in size. The breeder and I chose her because she seemed more like a hen than a rooster. I see what seem to be streamers but it is hard to tell since I don't have any up close experience with what streamers look like. So I thought I'd poll some you more experienced folks out there.

I got her as a companion for this little silkie whose companions died a week earlier. This silkie is was supposedly a week old when I got her the 20th of August. Which would make her about 6 weeks old. She got pasty butt early on, so I thought that might be why she hasnt gotten much bigger. She is fine now but still so small.

does the comb "fade out" twords the neck? or does it stick up? (if silkies HAVE combs

)

I think it is a hen because of its crest feathers but I may always be wrong.
