So the chicks are red sex links? Tractor supply told me they were a cross between the two. Which made them an ISA brown. Can you clarify for me?

As they are hatchery sourced birds yes, they are red sex links. It sounds like the person you spoke to just got things turned around a bit in explaining things.

Could they, perhaps be Amberlinks, too? I bought several of those at TSC when I got my ISAs. They look a bit like mine, though they haven't developed any brown that I've seen yet. As adults, they seem to have that coloring often.
