i think it is all a scam. like we are really running out of gas! There is plenty of oil, but they wont let us drill it.​

YIKES!!!!
I paid $3.91 and the Sunoco on the corner was $4.05. Ernie was driving to work and saw someone had $4.15!!!
It keeps going up like this and I'm hitching Obelisk to my Radio Flyer...

I think that the closer it gets to November, the price will go down...

I really don't want drilling in the Arctic Wildlife Reserve or off shore drilling, but it's high time that some of the other alternative energies are looked at more closely rather than being scoffed at as snake oil.

I wish we could figure another way to efficiently fuel our vehicles without driving up the prices of corn, food, or anything else!
I would love to cut down on comsumption (which I have personally tried to do) but as the co-owner of a landscaping company we have to put gas in the trucks, and mowers, and skid loader.....
I think this will be a very difficult season!

This is why I do not drive...at all. I'm 28 and proud to say that I don't even have my license. I bike or walk anywhere I need to go. On the rare occasion I have to go farther I pay a friend for a ride.

I just heard on NPR that the price of a barrel fell today on wall street and has been falling since labor day! This is due to demand falling. So see we can change this, If everyone would buy as little as possible and try to use other methods of transportation when you can it will continue to fall. That is what is great about a free market place. We, the consumer set the prices so if we buy less and buy our gas from small gas companies and not Exxon or Mobile the price will fall, it has too, I can not afford $5.00 a gallon and I know I am not alone. I really think it will get better.
