Oyster shell is not free does not cost allot if you buy it 50 lbs at a time
yes it does get eaten not like food I have a regular sized metal bucket laying on it's side

Hi all, I discovered what the problem was that I had the wrong kind of feeder. I have a much better feeder now and they are not wasting food like they were or eating like vultures
