YIPPEE DOODLE!!! First egg!

Well, one of the three "Big Girls", RIR's laid her first egg! It is rather petite, but it is perfectly shaped, and a gorgeous brown! I am at work, but I will post a pic tonight. I am thrilled!

I am officially now a farmer... not a chicken tender only!

Glad I am not the only one snapping photos of my first egg. I sent it to my hubby via cell phone and he thought I was crazy because we were thinking our girls wouldn't start laying until the spring and they started in JAN.
