Yippy.... Our first egg

My Mom just got done saying (not more than 1/2 hr before) that she wished that she would at least see an egg before she went back home on Tues.....Tho and behold, we went out to the coop to visit them and there it was "Our First Egg"

In the only one of 6 nests without a golf ball in it.

Not sure who it is from, I am suspecting an Isa Brown. The girls will be 18 wks old on Monday.

This is ours against a large store bought one.

... 17 weeks and 4 days... Mom is going to have a small but welcome breakfast tomorrow morning.

I do have a question tho. What is the best way to get out the inside while preserving the shell? Pin pricking a hole in both ends and blowing it out? If so, does it matter which end I blow it out from ?
