Okay, thanks to someone in Virginia buying a dozen Sumatra eggs from me, I just ordered two goose diapers - one for growing babies, and one for adults! The adult version is going to be all frilly and have ruffles on it, lmao!

Yep, I've lost it.

The second silkie that hatched is doing great. He's slowly fluffy up now that he's in the brooder, and he's learning how to walk as best as he can. In the meantime, his parents got moved into the "dumpster coop" which only needed a few things nailed back together, new hardware for the "door", and a roof of some sort. It's up and filled with three silkies now. And I got a tarp that completely covers the dog kennel actually hung and that makes the dog kennel ready for the Sumatras now.

But I'm no fool. Those sumatras can ONLY be caught after they go to sleep. So the dog kennel will stay empty until it gets dark outside!

That will leave EE's waiting for their screen arbor, and then the Phoenix Roo, Leghorn Hen, Polish Roo, and mixed-breed bantam-ish hen to wait for a new shelter. Meanwhile the geese will go in... HAHAHAHA!

(My sister doesn't realize that issue yet. So we're thinking inside of the house? I just bought a diaper for them, after all, lol! She would kill me...)

But I'm feeling pretty accomplished right now. Although I'm about to post some more eggs on the BST forums, because I'm completely out of incubator space, and they are just piling up right now!

It really is a nice camper. I really don't WANT to sell but that kind of money can pay for a lot of fencing, coop material, barn finishing, etc etc etc.....

Very true, but I think I could just put a camper on our farm and sell the house. I'm so done with subdivision life and not living next to my animals; and Mr. Zoo keeps dragging his feet and waiting for "the market to turn around" before we sell. Hint: our neighborhood is full of rentals and foreclosures because no one is getting what they want out of their house. I say cut our losses and get out before it's worse.

The weather is warming up a little; maybe I'll just pitch a tent and camp with my critters.
