I know I could probably answer my own question but I'm just being horribly lazy at the moment.... How much and what benefits for that membership?
SOOOO cute!! I just love the ones that look like chipmunks!!

Are you sure we don't have the same place? The neighbor thing sounds just like our situation.
Yes ... you only need the candling certificate to sell off your own property. But either way, on property or off, you can only sell to the end user without having yet another certificate. (Can't sell to food trucks, restaurants, re-sellers, etc.)Are we still allowed to sell eggs on our personal property without a candling license?
Kind of long story, but back in 2000 or so, I owned a Bed and Breakfast and I got some laying hens. I wanted to serve my own eggs to my guests and the health department didn't like that, so they sent me to the GA Egg Commission or the GA Dept of Ag? I don't remember. They had never heard of such a situation and so they decided it was best to just have me do the candling certification (at that time, they apparently were not offering it to the general public because I remember I kept hearing them say how unusual this situation was.) Back then, if I remember correctly, the rule was that you could sell 35 dozen eggs per week on your property. But the B&B/Health Dept. thing made my situation all complicated.
So why am I asking the above question? Well, I moved from GA to CA to NC and back to GA. When I called to see if they had my certification on file still, I was told that they just destroyed those records LAST YEAR. Ugh. So I THINK my candling certificate is in the attic in my ex-husband's house in NC. I was planning to just go up there and dig through boxes until I find it, but if they have classes nearby fairly regularly, I'll just redo the darn thing. I remember most of the info, just not the weights for each size. HOWEVER, if I can sell at home without a certificate, I'll totally go that route.
Blame Roboduck. What am I doing wrong? I am using my iPhone app, click on the picture, submit, I get a popup that says it's embedding but then it's not there...

They don't really quack till they're ready to come out anyway. You can just say you were surprised too.lol
