They are a threatened heritage breed (per the albc). Dual purpose, good foragers and gorgeous!!!

Those are some pretty good looking chickens. And the geese...look cool too. I also like their history; IF I ever were to get geese, I met get a few of those. Good thing I might end up with a fairly local source of eggs
