YO GEORGIANS! :)

Got the little incubator today! I am now however scared it will be complete crap as it blinks and plays a song for the eggs..... weird right? LOL

If her toes don't get any better, will I have to put her down? Or will she be ok to have funky feet. She does seem to be getting bigger though, I should have been weighing her to see how much she is gaining.

She will be fine to have the curled toes. I have a leghorn mix with a severe case of it that never was treated. Each toe actually curls completely back around and touches the one next to it. But she can still walk and also flies pretty well. She's probably about 6-8 months old now and lays eggs too. Although I have yet to see her submit to a roo (she will twist out of their grasp everytime), and her eggs aren't coming up fertile. Its fine by me though, because it leaves me with a definite "food egg" hen - even now during hatching season, I've always got one stocking the fridge!

Did you not hear me when I told you I haven't looked at the ad?  You do realize we're less than 3 feet apart, right?
You may both be interested to know, I actually saw it when I did it, but given my state of mind/mood when I was typing it, I didn't care. It was quite distressing really. I'll be so nervous if people I don't know come to see him. I REALLY hope my friend gets him who's coming on Sunday. I REALLY hope he's a good boy for her and minds his manners like he does for me, lol.

So my sister's family thought they had lost their oldest cat yesterday. He is AT LEAST 13 years old (a rescue, so no one knows for sure) and was expected to slow down soon anyway. Although he didn't act ill lately, we do have wildlife out here that is very capable of killing cats. I got a text around 6pm telling me "Tom tom is gone."

So they buried it in the backyard, and begin to put up an old mailbox post as a "grave marker" where he and their little puppy from last year were buried. But just as they cover up the base of the post with dirt, they see.... Tom tom. He was calmly sitting about 10 feet away from them, looking at them like "So... what's up?"

The buried cat looked SO MUCH like theirs that they thought it was the same cat. Now they have no idea who's cat they buried, and no idea where it came from!

Omg, how strange. I'm glad it wasn't Tom Tom!
