YO GEORGIANS! :)

Lol show-quality should NEVER be used to describe a sex link. Maybe the parents are two different colors/breeds and the offspring will actually be sex link chicks. Maybe. But they will NEVER be show quality because they are mixed breed.
No, the pics were of Sexlinks. These "high quality" "show" birds came from Meyer hatchery, so says the description

I have heard of people who did keep chickens and ducks together, but I've never tried it myself. I hear that keeping the food and water clean, etc, can be tough.  I'm not sure I understand the second question though.

We keep our runner ducks with my chickens at night. During the day the ducks run to the lake. It was a mess trying to keep a bucket of water in the coop. Now we just have water nipples. The ducks are fine overnight without the bucket of water. If we have to keep them in the coop for a few days, we will put a small pot of water in there so they can dip their beaks in it. They all seem to get along well.

Hey all! We actually got some work done on the coop today! It is finally level! What a pain in the butt it was! I have the floor laid out, just need to screw it all down. And then on to buildings walls! Woohoo!

The girls are getting so big! They will be 3 weeks old on Sunday and I swear they seem to double in size every day. My chick with the curled toes has had her toes either taped straight(3 days) or had a boot on(3 days) and the toes don't seem to be changing. I left her toes unwrapped tonight.

If her toes don't get any better, will I have to put her down? Or will she be ok to have funky feet. She does seem to be getting bigger though, I should have been weighing her to see how much she is gaining.
