No, the pics were of Sexlinks. These "high quality" "show" birds came from Meyer hatchery, so says the descriptionLol show-quality should NEVER be used to describe a sex link. Maybe the parents are two different colors/breeds and the offspring will actually be sex link chicks. Maybe. But they will NEVER be show quality because they are mixed breed.
I have heard of people who did keep chickens and ducks together, but I've never tried it myself. I hear that keeping the food and water clean, etc, can be tough. I'm not sure I understand the second question though.
