Doing good. Planning out my paycheck for tomorrow, lol!
Getting lots of chicken feed, plus another screen canopy for some more chickens, plus some plywood and 2x4's for roosts and nest boxes.

Sneek peek…I've been MIA because I've been either working, tending the flock and animals (including my sweet sweet hubby), down in my shop or out back…still not done but this is my Polish coop in progress. It has 3 sections inside the coop and run all of which can be opened up by the hinged doors or locked down for 3 breeding pens. By the way I've been told there is a Canton show in April but I can't find any details.

Seriously gorgeous coop! I'm completely jealous...both for the fact that it's sooo adorable and because you're finished lol. I've been working on my new breeding house for a month and I'm sick of it. Once this is finished I don't care if I ever build anything again lol.

Has anyone ever had a hen start developing spurs? My Welsumer hen has little tiny nubs where my roos have spurs. I barely even noticed them.

My RIR has spurs, I thought she was a rooster for a while because they hadn't started laying yet. But when I found her in the nesting box, I knew she was a girl

Hey CD comere and build me a coop. I'll help lol even buy the supplies... just don't have the muscle power. My DH is so not talented he can't even light the hot water heater when the pilot goes out! Dragged me outta bed this mornin to do it ugghhh. I love the man but dayum!
