Pawhut Pawhut Outdoor 40" A-Frame Rabbit Cage Chicken Coop Habitat . We found some place that matched a sales price. we only paid $99 and got free shipping. But, like I said, we had to add a floor to the bottom section....And, I put in a piece of clear carpet runner for a lining. Also added some 6" side boards to keep the litter in it. Husband made a few small roosts.
YES Sanchabird lol 5 toes and black skin some rare have 6. But you can't show those! I am hoping to have more babies when Daisy atarts laying. Are you interested in white silkies? Daisy is my avatar Russell is my roo. I am hoping to get a cpl of baby girls from abmaddox to give Russell a harem lol.
OMG! I wish I had nothing else to do today but sit on my porch and watch chickens and chicks! Beautiful day! Love seeing the chickens ranging all over the yard, across the lake and up in the woods! There's just something special about that sight to me! Scratch, scratch, jump back and look! Scratch, scratch, jump back and look!
But, having to pack up and get ready to leave to go visit my daughter in DC. Will be selling my Serama Roo to a lady in SC, which luckily, is right off I-85 which is on our route! Then taking the Serama pullet to my daughter who needs a female for her other lonely Serama. So, no more bantams for me! I guess I will be using their little bantam house for a brooder!
BTW, here is little curly toed chick. I took splints off to check her progress. Toes a little sideways, but not curly!
Before After
I still need to get pictures for you but she absolutely LOVES hr white poof balls. She got a huge kick out of their names, too She took turns with them. She wanted them to sleep with them last night. lol
@Abmaddox: how is the hatching game going lady?? I took a trip to the GAMaran mud farm lol Robo was tendind to the hooved animals so he was avoiding me....I think he does that. Can't wait to see their fence and the mini animals!!
GAM: Just a pc of advice...they dont like being a part very long. They like climbing all over me. I let them forage in the yard with me near by. They follow behind... The way you can tell them apart is that Cheep is the very nosey one. Peep likes to snuggle more. If you put them under a blanket Peep usually stays but Cheep is out in a second checking things out. Keep the paper towels or t.p. close by lol! Unless you want to teach her to fashion a bandana into a chick diaper
I'm so excited they have a great mommy!
Speaking of diapers, phoenix has yet to make a mess in his! I keep taking it off, prepared to clean it out, but there is nothing in it. Poor guy lost half of his head, and now he can't poop (probably not enough in his system for it)
The whole incident prob scared the poop outta him, so yeah. You are prob right, it will be a while. Dr CD you are taking care of him. Its up to him now. I hope he comes around. Tough guy living through it though!! My roo would have croaked bec he is such a baby lol

YOU can't wait?? Ugh, it's making me crazy. I'm finding that I have less patience than I thought I did.

Good old Loudon County. I moved to Georgia from up that way. I had a house in Sterling (was with their Rescue Squad for a while). Still have family in VA. A bit further out, though.
