YO GEORGIANS! :)

Have you had other breeds as well to compare these to? I can't wait to have some, I hear great things about them. :)

Any eggs from your girls yet? I do hear they are a little slow to mature..
these are my very first chickens. They have not laid yet although i check 3or 4 times daily. I can hardly wait for eggs tho. My roos are doing their job whenever they can catch a pullet. Its pretty violent looking tho. No telling what happens when they are locked in the coop all night

@Bamadude: Your birds are just beautiful to me! I know what you mean abt breed threads too...

I finally figured out the breed of the other chick I got with my Plymouth barred Rock, its a black sex link. I'm ok with the breed...just that I didn't order it and made my displeasure known to the feed store. I picked up my SLW chick today. She is a tiny one but very cute and loves being handled. She about started a brawl with the 2+ wk old chicks so I had to put her in her own box. I expect my Black Australorp's on the 17th. That rounds out my large flock for the year.

My 2+week old chicks love hopping up or flying up to the edge of their container brooder to roost lol its so cute! They are feathering out quite nicely too. Starting to get used to getting handled on a daily basis as well. Dottie, Minnie, Pepper, and Little LuLu. Our SLW is Lacey :)

I DONT LIKE BROODY CHICKENS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you get bit?

Y'all one of my Marans has something funky going on with it's right wing.

Have y'all seen this? Will it correct? I can't feel anything wrong structure-wise.. Are they just bent?

Looks like he's just got wing tips growing out faster than the rest of the feathers, and he's drooping his wing a bit. They do that when they are tired or hot.
