YO GEORGIANS! :)

That's why I stay off those breed threads. I love my brahmas too. They are hatchery, but I think they're gorgeous. I think yours are beautiful!!!
I got picked on about my Easter Eggers... until I changed my profile pic to that of my alpha roo. Then I got someone SERIOUSLY interested in him, wanting to start a whole actual breed with him!

Those pics are a couple months old. They are alot bigger now. 1 of my roos can stretch his neck out and peck at my door knob. I had no idea they got so big. I made the coop and they keep growing. So to keep from overcrowding i gave maw in law a few and built her a coop

Chickens will actually grow bigger than they are supposed to as long as you give them high protein. So they suggest switching to a lower protein laying feed when they reach about 16-18 weeks of age.

these are my very first chickens. They have not laid yet although i check 3or 4 times daily. I can hardly wait for eggs tho. My roos are doing their job whenever they can catch a pullet. Its pretty violent looking tho. No telling what happens when they are locked in the coop all night
Nothing. Chickens are scared of the dark. They can't see anything. That's why it's so easy to catch the wilder ones when they are roosting, because they have NO CLUE you're right there.

It's also why we lose so many at night.

I must not be very smart I looked under my profil for a place to put a picture but didn't see one
If you're on a cell phone, abmaddox can probably tell you how to put it up. But on a computer, I'd just click on the picture itself beside my name (the default one with the grey cartoon chicken) until I see an option that says "change profile pic" or "change avatar".

Hey CD! Do you have slate legged EE's? I am lookin for one

Indeed I do. Both Buddy and Karmel ended up with slate legs.
