Ok, I have a question for y'all to weigh in on. I have had turkey eggs incubating at abmaddox's place since my girls started laying this season, but the first batch quit and the others are only about halfway along. GAM has a batch, so now I want to get some eggs of my own started before the girls quit for the summer or something weird. The problem is that we'll be out of town again for three days around memorial day. If my house sitter is unable to turn eggs (no turner), do we think it's better to move the bator to someone else's house for three days, or just bring it with us to the cabin if I have to move it anyway (not a long drive and the car has an adapter)? I'm really not wanting to put off incubating my own batch of turkeys until after memorial day. I told Mr. Zoo that we can't schedule any trips next year during baby season! I've gotten new gray hairs over leaving expectant moms, newborns, eggs in other people's incubators, and brooders full of chicks!

I would say go with whichever one is closer. But I think someone else's house is best. That way, you don't have to move them DURING incubation.
