I was the one who created our map. Let me see how I have the settings set. I thought I made it so that you could edit your own. If not, just create a new one, let me know which one is the old one and I can delete it. :). I'll have to get only laptop tomorrow.
 
Alright so my chicken that was not walking has been inside for a week now. I have been giving her polyvisol vitamins everyday. I've given her some food, fresh fruit/veggies and tonight some grass. She does eat but certainly not as much as the others.

She is standing up and walking so that is great news as she was barely doing either last week. Her wings still seem to be out a bit to balance herself though. She also seems to pant, even though it is not hot inside.

A couple questions:

1. When do you think I should bring her back out to be with the rest of the flock.
2. Do you think they will be ok with her coming back? They didn't pick on her before, will they accept her back?
3. Should I be concerned with the panting? Could it be from stress?

I want to delete the valleychicks one with the sunflower marker set in Washington behind someone else named scratches. I created a new marker closer to my area in Metasville that has a Lt. Purple marker. No it wouldn't let me edit or delete the old one. Thank you for your help! The map is such a great idea!
 
Guys. I THINK I may have made progress with my still air. I've had terrible luck SINCE I started using a turner. I've been watching closely and my temp is 102* when eggs are upright. But as they tilt it was dropping to more like 100.

I have adjusted it to where they are more like 103* at peak, then drop to 101* at lowest on tilt. What do we think about this! (Aside from getting a fan ;) )

I honestly feel I have even temps throughout the bator aside from the *layering*.. In all corners and in the middle the temps are matching up when I move therm around..
 
And I sure hope it'll hold out.. Bc I have 28 brahma eggs currently looking great. :/ And my handy fridge bator has been delayed a bit. Not sure I'll want to transfer them as far along as they'll be when it is here.

OH MY GOD.... I wish I had a fairy godmother that could grant me a mortgage (I have a VERY good reason for my inability to get one right now). The house across the street from my sister's house is about to go up for sale. It's a very nice house, on just under 6 acres. It's already fenced in for horses, and has a full-service barn with an attached carport that already had a stall for a horse as well. There's a small creek running through the back of the property (ducks? geese? HELLO) and the barn even has a loft that could easily become an extra "suite" for either guests or extra family. And all of that for just $179k! The house is valued on Zillow for over $280k! I could kiss PMI goodbye!


ERMAHGERD I want it so bad. I thought I would be finished with the VA evaluation and my lawsuit long before it was sold, but they're talking about moving very soon, and there's no end in sight on either one of my issues right now. But the resolution of both of those problems would just outright buy the house! GRRRRRR!!!!
